The Pod of Destiny
Every year some friends of ours have a “Con” on their property out in the boonies where we all go camping. We also have a huge Bonfire there. So we recorded an episode while sitting around said fire. No web site or anything to mention in this one. Enjoy!

So here is why the next EP is so late, we were trying to recover it off Megan’s recorder. Megan and Moonbeam recorded a show on a trip to see Weird Al. Megan used her recording device and it got corrupted and we were unable to restore it. So it will be our lost EP. Perhaps Brocely Bill and Sunbeam got to it.
So we skip a head to EP 20. Moonbeam was quite exhusted at both the Al concert and at the bonfire due to spending tons of energy making new life. So Carrie and I decided on a whim to do a EP with the 2 of us. I wanted to call it “Bad Destiny” or “Rapport of Destiny, but Carrie used here Royal Carrie voice and called it “Pod of Rapport.” As I mentioned, we were at a bonfire at my house. It was recorded on the 4th of July and we took a trip around the farm in the dark on a Gator. A Gator is like golf cart but a bit beefier and with a loud gas engine. I hope you enjoy it!

The show started at To Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind and we never ended it. Then the next day in Line at W00tstock when we were going to record ep 19, it POURED. So we finished 18 at the post W00tsock Denny’s trip.

Here’s some photo’s I wanted to share. We went to W00tstock in Chicago where Wil Wheaton was going to be. I introduced him self to him as the ConChair for Penguicon 3.0(the 2nd time he canceled) and presented him with a “Not Wil Wheaton” ribbon from penguicon 2010. Wil actually asked me about the ribbons before i could give it to him and he squeeed when I did. Here’s the pic…

I (Bill) have bonfires at his house all the time. We started the Pod after bonfire season last year though, so we never had a chance to record an episode from a bonfire. I had my 1st bonfire of the year on the Sunday before memorial day, so we recorded an episode there. The episode starts around the fire, then we wonder over to the barn to say hi to the horses. In this episode we have Dan, Ann Marie, Bahb, Bill’s brother Jamie, Matt, Julie, Greg, Nate, and many others.

WAY back in March, we recorded this EP on the way back from seeing Emo in Grand Rapids Mi. There’s been a ton of stuff keeping me from posting this, but it’s finally up and I’m already working on getting EP 16 up. Hopefully there won’t be this long of delays again between shows. In attendance was Dan, Narfboy(Bill Albin), Moonbeam, and My self. Moonbeam never came up with a web site pick of the week other then “St. Patties day.” She was very sick on this trip and was more then a little tired. Only link to share is this….

1st off, we say EP 13 but this is actually 14. So Blasted Bill, Moonbeam, Dan, Lauren, Julie, Ann Marie, Brian, Jason, Kerry, and Scoops went to see The U of M Basement Arts performance of Dr. Horrible. It wasn’t a shadow cast, it was a full stage production. Then we went to the Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor, then we went to eat ad BD’s Mongolian barbaque. While walking around Ann Arbor, we saw some of the famous Ann Arbor fairy doors. Check out info on that at http://urban-fairies.com.

Sunday night of Marscon, dead tired from all the fun, Luke, and Moonbeam, and Carrie, and Blasted Bill recorded another joint podcast. This one we are putting up the same file in both places as we were far to tired to record a very long podcast.

Update about new EP’s of the Pod of Destiny: My computer got hit with a MAJOR malware infection, AGAIN. I had to reload windows completely. New ep is ready to go and I will post it later this week, as well as a hidden surprise every one needs to look for.
Well, kind of the lighting of the cheese candle. Because of how we tried to record it, we failed. The demo software we used cut off at 4 minutes. So we only have just over 8 minutes of the whole thing and completely missed the actual lighting. But you’ll get the gest. The actual lighting was actually late cause Dan was watching the TV and not listening to me and Moonbeam yelling for him to light the candle. But it light and we had fun. Joining us on this one was Karen, Jason, and Juile VIA Skype, though not actually during the recorded bits.
